The Celts. I have read hundreds of books, seen, -quarter as many again films, documentary's, Plays, spoofs, and Opera's...
Argued vehemently for Knot-work on the Armour Archive, for the starting date for tartan plaid, kilts, Lowland and Highland
Tradition, unrevised-unbiased history,.....and Claymores. Still after 15 years I feel an awe of mystery, eternal loss, tenacious ferocity,
wicked humor, revenge, and unbounded loyalty to our celtic love, life, culture, heritage, and hopeful future when thinking
of my ancestors. I am from a family that boasts Celtic roots, Scottish and Irish Clan Wars and Reaving and drinking. Daring
in the eyes of Danish Pirates, Loyalty to the Bruce Crown and Rebellion and punishment received against the English, all the
while owning lands in Lincoln, Ulster, France, and Italy. Pagan mysteries and Christian devotion. Blood feuds, and world
travelers. Chameleons, with ties to back to the Pictish Royal Line. So I've always had a soft spot for Gaulic Rebels, and
Pictish under-dogs, Highlander Mc's, and lowlander Welsh,...and have spent many years studying the available scholarship on
these issues. We, Hayes,... (on my mothers side) actually the Feudal offspring of Danish Vikings turned Norman Christians,
and the Clan Hay came to power in Normandy as the De la Haye, and later in Scotland after the 1066 Conquest, and Rebel uprisings
in Scotland. Celt vs Celt, the ancient conundrum. Then the lower ranks crofted out into Ireland, and starved out across
the water to Canada and America. We wish to supply as much authoritative scholarship for anyone to be able to put together
an authentic Celtic kit, from 1000 BCE-1745 AD. Enjoy.
